Love is the shortest distance between hearts.

Saw 2 beautiful heart beats today at Jaime's doctors visit,
Absolutely awe-inspiring

To have joy one must share it.

Orange Blossom Memories AKA Sweet Memories

Spring time in Visalia always brings gentle winds passing through my senses with the sweetest of all fragances. It passes quickly and I have to stop and deeply inhale. I'll hold my breath to preserve the feeling it evokes as long as possible. The aroma of the orange blossom returns again after the winter freeze
and the orchards are full of the delicate white flowers. This sweetness only lasts for a short time and is one of my favorite things about California. I wish I could bottle some to save for sharing.

I always think of my childhood trips to my Grandparent's sea shore home in Forked River, NJ. Our rest stops were always at a road side hamburger place my "Pop" loved and the Stuckey's for gas. For my "Mom", the pecan rolls were the best. And my favorite item in the store was the tiny vile that contained the "Orange Blossom" perfume. These were the best of times. It's no wonder I still love Spring time and orange blossoms...

Goodnight Moon, Good Morning Sunshine

What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies. ~Rudolph GiulianiTwo more precious members to the Barycki and Delgado families due to arrive Decemeber 9th. We couldn't be any more proud or happy. Congratulations Jaime and Anthony.

Donkey, Donkey

Old and gray,
Open your mouth
And gently bray;

Lift your ears,
And blow your horn
To wake up the world
This sleepy morn.

Jo, Josie, Joseph

His registered name is outlaw "Josie Tails". A surprise gift from Emil for me while we were living in Roswell. He is most definitely an amazing 2 year old Maine Coon cat. And always ready to entertain his family with his crazy antics. Steve and Jen have been giving him ice cubes everytime they get a drink and he loves playing with them till they melt. Took me a while to figure out all the wet spots on the floor. lol But now it seems he has figured out how to get his own.

Angels on Earth

News from Hunter Creek Farms in Roswell, N.M. Beautiful twins were born and are doing well. What a blessing. This makes 91 babies for the year so far!! Probably about 40 - 50 more to go!!

I've always believed God has a plan for our lives, and there are reasons for the roads that we travel. Roswell led me to Hunter Creek Farms. And my experience with the mamas and babies for 2 years, was the closest I have ever felt to nature and God.

Believers are Wii

"Look around you. There are many things to see, that some would say could never be. These things I know. It's true and I will tell you so. They are there to see, if you believe. Trolls and wizards and fairy kings, birds that talk and fish that sing. And if your heart is true, then you will find them too.In every wish and dream and happy home, you will find a kingdom of the Gnomes."

Last night after the dust storm and pounding rain, a little gnome moved into our garden. As long as he stays on his mushrooms, he will never know the secret of my garden. I hope he stays, protecting all the little creatures that pass through and bringing love, dreams, and hope to all our family and friends. I think his name is Harvey
