I went this weekend with Jaime and her family to Pismo Beach campgrounds for their annual camp trip with Anthony's family. It's about 30 minutes down the coastal highway from my favorite campgrounds in Morrow Bay. This is a beautiful state park nestled in a grove of eucalyptus trees. And within walking distance of the ocean. The Pismo Beach Groves are where the monarch butterflys migrate to annually in November and stay till February. This habitat is believed to be the largest in the Western United States. It is a wonderful site to behold of huge pods of thousand of colorful butterflies gathered in "their" eucalyptus tree grove with hundreds more fluttering about in the sunlight.
I had a great time with her inlaws but had to come home Sunday. Jaime and family will be staying over there for 10 days, this year she took my camper so she could sleep more comfortably and have a potty handy for night time emergencies, lol. The kids are roughing it in the tents.
