Camping in Pismo Beach
I went this weekend with Jaime and her family to Pismo Beach campgrounds for their annual camp trip with Anthony's family. It's about 30 minutes down the coastal highway from my favorite campgrounds in Morrow Bay. This is a beautiful state park nestled in a grove of eucalyptus trees. And within walking distance of the ocean. The Pismo Beach Groves are where the monarch butterflys migrate to annually in November and stay till February. This habitat is believed to be the largest in the Western United States. It is a wonderful site to behold of huge pods of thousand of colorful butterflies gathered in "their" eucalyptus tree grove with hundreds more fluttering about in the sunlight.
I had a great time with her inlaws but had to come home Sunday. Jaime and family will be staying over there for 10 days, this year she took my camper so she could sleep more comfortably and have a potty handy for night time emergencies, lol. The kids are roughing it in the tents.

Baby News at 19 weeks
Went to the Doctors visit with Jaime and Anthony yesterday and the kiddles are all doing fine and growing like weeds. It appears to be 2 boys and 1 girl. It is amazing to see these little babies moving around in Jaime's belly. It isn't going to be easy for Jaime but she's following her Doctor's orders and taking very good care of these precious angels and her self. She'll have weekly visits from now on and she will be more likely than not, spending her last month before they arrive in midish October, in bed rest at the hospital in Fresno. Her doctor is the top specialist on multiples in the Valley and is taking the best care of her.

Being a Bardsley
I can't imagine a better childhood than growing up part of the Bardsley clan. My Dad was the youngest boy of 6 children and this gave me the best of the best in Aunts, Uncles and cousins. . I only hope I can create these wonderful memories for my Grandchildren in a world that is so different than running barefoot in Spring Mount.

Shopping Crib #1
Today Jaime and I went shopping for her first crib. We went to Fresno and had a great time checking out and comparing Babies R Us, Burlington Coat Factory's Baby Depot, and a specialty shop called Little Dreamer. All had great selections and assorted price ranges but in the end, we found this great buy at HomeGoods for a Bassett Crib at an unbeatable price for the quality and style. Then we topped it off with a moonlight slumber supreme all foam mattress. This little angel should sleep comfortably.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY. Here's some powerful words for you to think about: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. - That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. . . " Really a ground breaking thought there. Human Rights come first and governments are formed by men to protect those rights. That's surely something worth celebrating.
