Sunshine Gonna Wash My Blues Away

Took a week vacation in Cape May with Radojka, Max, Isabel and Babci,
we had a wonderful time.
"Knee deep in the water somewhere

got the blue sky, breeze and it don't seem fair

the only worry in the world

is the tide gonna reach my chair"

"Sunrise, there's a fire in the sky

never been so happy

never felt so high

and I think I might have found me

my own kind of paradise"

‎"Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming."

Just Fishin'

"An she thinks we're just fishing on the river side,
throwing back what we could fry,
drowning worms an killing time,
nothing too ambitious
she ain't even thinking bout what's really going on right now
but I guarantee this memories a big one
and she thinks we're just fishin' "
~Trace Adkins~

Notice Max looking at the worm...
Grandpa gave him one to touch
and he thew it right to the water...
He was just feeding the fishes...

one which even the youngest child can operate,

is called a grandparent"

Holiday Beach Bums

Our grandchildren accept us for ourselves, without rebuke or effort to change us, as no one in our entire lives has ever done, not our parents, siblings, spouses, friends - and hardly ever our own grown children.

Christmas California Style 2010

Christmas - that magic blanket that wraps itself about us, that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance. It may weave a spell of nostalgia. Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance--a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved. ~ Augusta E. Rundel~

The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree:
the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.
